Project
Using your smartphone, follow the script below to make a short film with 3 scenes set in distinct locations along the trail. The names are only suggestions so feel free to adapt the script to suit your family or group.
When you’re at home, you can download the app listed on this page, or use an editing app you may already have, and put your sequence of clips together to form your film.
Script
Scene 1: Summer Fun on Tara Hill Lane
Location: Tara Hill Lane, a sunny summer day
A group of children, aged 6-10, run excitedly along Tara Hill Lane. They carry art packs and wear wide smiles on their faces. JASON, a curious boy, stops to pick a wildflower growing by the side of the lane.
JASON
Look, everyone! A beautiful flower!
The other children gather around Jason, admiring the delicate flower.
SARAH
Let's use this flower to decorate our kites!
The children pluck petals from the flower and affix them to their sketchbooks, adding a touch of nature's beauty to their creations. They continue running and laughing along Tara Hill Lane, their kites soaring high above.
Scene 2: Exploring the Turnstile
Location: Tara Hill Lane's Turnstile, a sunny day
The children approach the turnstile at the exit of Tara Hill Lane entering the climb to the hill. They marvel at its old-fashioned charm. EMMA, a brave girl, takes the lead and makes her way through the turnstile. With each spin, a satisfying click echoes through the air.

Hey, I see a bunny!
The children gather around the turnstile, peering through the gaps and spotting a bunny hopping in the bushes. They take turns going through the turnstile, giggling with excitement as they catch glimpses of wildlife and the picturesque scenery.
Scene 3: Peaceful Moments on the Bench
Location: A scenic bench on top of Tara Hill, overlooking the landscape
The children reach the top of Tara Hill and find a sturdy wooden bench with a breathtaking view spread out before them. They sit on the bench, awestruck by the beauty of the rolling hills and vibrant colours of nature.

It's like a painting come to life!
The children take a moment to appreciate the tranquility, feeling the gentle breeze and listening to the sounds of birds chirping. They exchange heartfelt smiles, cherishing the peace and serenity that Tara Hill offers.
